• 2025 February call of Global Institute for Materials Research Tohoku (GIMRT) proposal has opened. (The deadline: Mar. 13th, 2025)
• Tohoku University announced the BCP (emergency action plan) level 1 on October 1, 2021. Please check the regitration form (October 11, 2021)
• Magnet time requst is now open for 2021 Nov - Dec (Oct. 1, 2021 is dead line). Due to the supension of LHe in Dec 2021- Mar 2022, experiments with LHe without 25T-CSM cannnot be accepted in that period. Only for 25T-CSM, however, the magnet time requests including experiments with LHe can be accepted. Because many requests will be expected, we accept magnet time request for Nov. 1, 2021 - Mar. 31, 2022 at this time. (September 13, 2021)

• The Tohoku University lifted to the BCP level 1 on June 19, 2020. The HFLSM is open for all domestic users since June 22, 2020. (June 22, 2020)

• According to the lift of Tohoku University BCP to level 2 on June 1st, 2020, the magnet time for external users without Tokyo, Chiba, Kanagawa, Saitama and Hokkaido will start again. The users assigned on June will be contact indivdually soon. (June 1, 2020)
• Although the magnet schedules on May have been already fixed, we had to cancel them because of an extension of the state of emergency in Japan related to the COVID-19 to the end of May. The magnet schedule of June will be announced later depending concerning the situation of COVID-19. (May 7th, 2020)

• The magnet time of extrenal users on April was canceled due to the prevention of COVID-19. The magnet time on May and June, 2020 will be assined in the usuall manner.
