Magnetic-Field Effects on Charge-Spin Stripe Order in La2-xSrxCu1-yZnyO4 around x = 1/8 Studied by In-Plane Electrical Resistivity


Magnetic-field effects on the charge-spin stripe order in the La-214 high-Tc cuprate La2-xSrxCu1-yZnyO4 with x = 0.115 have been investigated from measurements of the in-plane electrical-resistivity, rab. For y = 0, the normal-state value of rab at low temperatures markedly increases with increasing field up to 26 T. For y = 0.02, on the other hand, the increase in rab with increasing field is negligibly small. It has been concluded that both the magnetic field parallel to the c axis and Zn impurities operate to stabilize the charge stripe order in La-214 high-Tc cuprates.

La2-xSrxCu1-yZnyO4のx = 0.115において,電荷とスピンのストライプ秩序に対する磁場効果を面内電気抵抗率測定から調べた結果, y = 0においては,磁場の増加とともに低温での常伝導状態のrabが増大すること,また, y = 0.02においては,磁場によるrabの上昇がほとんど見られないことがわかった.結論として,La-214系超伝導体において,c軸に平行な磁場と置換されたZnは,ともに電荷ストライプ秩序を安定化させる効果を持つことがわかった.
