Electronic Properties of the Two-Dimensional Organic Conductor, t-(EDO-S,S-DMEDT-TTF)2(AuCl2)1+y in High Magnetic Field

The two-dimensional organic conductor, t-(EDO-S,S-DMEDT-TTF)2(AuBr2)1+y showed Shubnikov-de Haas magnetoresistance oscillations of 51 T with large amplitude and 481 T, where quantum Hall effect in two-band system was discussed. This time, in the analog of AuCl2-salt, single oscillations of 17 T was observed, with which various phenomena typical to quantum limit is expected to appear in more simple ways in lower magnetic field.

2次元有機導体t-(EDO-S,S-DMEDT-TTF)2(AuBr2)1+yは481Tと激しい振幅の51Tの2つのShubnikov de Haas磁気抵抗振動を示し, 2バンド系の量子Hall効果などを議論した. 今回, 類縁体の(AuCl2)1+y塩で17 Tのひとつの振動を観測し, 更に小さな2次元フェルミ面であり, AuBr2塩より低磁場で量子極限に関連した現象が単純な形で現れることが期待される.
