Thermal Stability of Cryocooled Ta-Fiber-Reinforced Nb3Sn Composite Wire
冷凍機冷却したTa繊維補強型Nb3Sn線のMQE (Minimum Quench Energy)を温度,印加磁場10から14.5 T の範囲,通電電流密度の組み合わせを変えて測定した.温度マージンは各負荷条件下での常電導転移までの温度的余裕である.この結果,各温度において様々な負荷条件下で測定されたMQEは,温度マージンと比例関係にあることがわかった.

The MQE for the cryocooled Ta-fiber-reinforced Nb3Sn composite wire was measured experimentally in various load conditions as the parameter of the temperature, applied magnetic-field, 10 ミ 14.5 T, and the transport current density. Temperature margin which is the abscissa axis is a difference between the operating temperature and the superconducting to normal transition temperature. It was found that MQE-temperature margin characteristics at each temperature showed a straight line even if loaded conditions varied.
